When Beethoven wrote Moonlight Sonata in 1801, this video is exactly what he had in mind. Techland is rolling out the Dying Light zombie flicks in preparation for Halloween, releasing a few short videos that are filled with the kinds of things you would expect from a game about murderizing zombies in broad daylight.
Let's start with the zombie selfie. This 30 second video shows some nice close-up zombie faces while Beethoven's piano ditty plays in the background. Maybe we're supposed to feel sorry for those undead guys, but approximately 20 seconds later, that emotion will end. Watch and see!
Our next batter is quite literally a batter. Playing around with the Baseball Bat weapon plus the Home Run Mod means zombies go splat in an extraordinarily epic way. There's blood and zombie bits all over the place, all without firing a single weapon. Casey didn't strike out this time. Proof:
Dying Light is set for release January 27, 2015 for Xbox 2360, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and PS4 and will support four player online co-op. A cool pre-order promotion is currently underway.
