We just got a fresh batch of screenshots for the four player co-op action game, Renegade Ops. The game is looking as colorful and beautiful as ever, but that wasn't what caught our eyes - it appears the game is going to feature two player split-screen play for local co-op which utilizes a dynamic split screen mechanic.
We went hands on with the Avalanche Studio developed game at E3 2011 and came away fairly impressed. Players choose from one of four characters - Diz, Gunnar, Roxy, or Armand each with their own unique vehicle(s). Co-Op players can choose to strategize by utilizing the strengths of each, whether you choose the speed of Roxy's buggy or the power of Armand's Armoured Fighting Vehicle, it's up to you. The screenshots also showcase helicopters, though we haven't see any official details if there will be four unique versions of them or if they are simply a small side distraction.
Renegade Ops should be available to download on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and the PC later this summer.
