CVG reports that the Official Playstation Magazine spoke to Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami recently. Mikami, now with ex-Capcom studio Platinum Games, isn't exactly looking forward to playing Resident Evil 5.
It'll just cause me stress if I play it. I think it could be fun for gamers to play it, but not for someone who has developed Resident Evil games.
If I see anything in Resident Evil 5 that isn't done well, I'll be angry!
About that last sentence, we wholeheartedly agree. Adding co-op to a series as popular and well done as Resident Evil is brilliant. I know what I'll be doing on March 12, when the game is released.
Perhaps you aren't like Mikami, and are anxious to play the game now? How about a way to play the recently released in Japan demo, without making a bogus Japanese Live account (which might not work anyway)? Kombo has all the details on how to download the demo files, burn them to a CD, and play it on your 360, regardless of region. Find out how right here. The demo even includes co-op, how cool is that?
UPDATE: Xbox 360 Fanboy is reporting that the Live co-op portion of the demo is disabled. Play at your own risk. -- Jim
