Co-Optimus is a website dedicated to Co-Op games. Every game listed on our site has some form of cooperative gameplay element. Our job is to bring you the most comprehensive list of games that support co-op play, and let you know what that experience is like!

On October 25th, Co-Optimus is participating in Extra Life, a 24 hour gaming marathon that benefits Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Our team consists of both staff members, and community members. We've all joined for different reasons, but our goals are all the same: to raise money for sick kids.

To do that we need your help, and there are several ways you can help. You can join our team and play with us on October 25th. Of course, part of joining the team is finding people who will back you up with donations. If you're not available that day, or you can't devote the entire 24 hours, you can always make up the extra time in the following week, pick a different day, or take turns with a few friends.

Another way you can help is by donating. Head on over to our team page and pick a team member to support from the roster. Many people pledge $1 per hour, that's $24 total, and that money goes to whichever Children's Hospital that team member chose to support. Your donation will help pay for the treatments kids need to get healthy.

Finally, the least you can do is spread the word. Share this page on Twitter or Facebook, email your family and friends, or post it on forums. Even if you're rooting for a different team or Extra Life in general, the more people we get involved, the better.

The day of the event, a few of us will be live streaming all day. We welcome you to stop by this page, or the Co-Optimus home page, and watch us play. Keep an eye out for news posts and updates to this page. I hope you consider participating, donating, and spreading the word.
