The Co-Op Experience
Team up with up to 7 other crew members and coordinate yourselves with proximity chat. Beware however that others can pick you up at any time - so griefing can be an issue both with friends and strangers.
While Mad Void is intended to be cooperative and the overall goal is still working with friends in a story based atmosphere - there are players that may want to ruin that due to griefing. As of now, there is no way to disable distinct PvP content.
