The Co-Op Experience

Four player couch co-op is supported in the "Spirit Board" mode with the 2.0 update. Complete challenges to unlock new "Spirits" to use in the "Spirit Board" and "World of Light" mode. Each player can choose a character from the roster of 74 fighters and customize them with a selection of unlocked spirits. If any player dies, the challenge fails. All progress is saved to player 1's game data.

Two player couch co-op is supported in the "Classic Mode" where players work together to complete a series of battles.
