Sony has some special deals for all you co-op gamers in the United Kingdom and Europe. The annual Easter Sale kicked off yesterday with some sales only lasting until March 30, and a great many more going until April 6. There are a fair number of titles on sale for the PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, and the Vita, but of particular note are a few co-op titles, like Bloodborne, Grand Theft Auto V, and Rainbow 6 Siege.
One of the key selling points of Bloodborne's DLC, The Old Hunters, was the addition of new weapons, which is both a good and bad thing. It's nice that the new weapons offer players more choices in what to use - as well as making some builds more viable - but the ability to max out those weapons was limited as the item needed to do so could only be acquired once per playthrough. Until now.

You've bested Bloodborne, and fired your trusty side arm wildly into the air in celebration. But before you smash your disc into a trillion pieces, as tradition demands for defeated games, maybe cast your gaze to "The Old Hunters," the first (and only) DLC/expansion for Bloodborne, out now.
The "Old Hunters" DLC arrives next Tuesday, November 24, for everyone's favorite action RPG, Bloodborne. If you've been looking forward to this new content and eagerly awaiting any news about the new weapons, then allow us to highlight for you the bowblade. Yep. It's a blade that turns into a bow.
We are a few weeks away from the Old Hunters DLC arriving for Bloodborne, but there's some more good news for all you hunters out there. The PlayStation Blog recently posted that a big update to the game will be arriving prior to the DLC's release. This update will add a new covenant (or oath) to the game that sounds like it will be more co-op focused.
No matter what sorts of garbage life throws at you, you can always cast a sidelong glance towards literally anyone inhabiting the world of Bloodborne and say "Well at least I'm not that guy." The Souls games have a tendency to be both terrifying and depressing, where even defeating a colossal demon offers little in the way of gratification since the damage has already been done and not even the sweet release of death can save you.
The Souls series and, by extension, Bloodborne haven't always been the easiest when it comes to connecting with your friends. Arguments about core mechanics of how summons are intended to work aside, it appears that gothic horror adventure title will be getting a patch next week to make matching easier and, more intriguing, to scale the stats of lower level players to the host.
It's great news to hear that Bloodborne is continuing to improve and get better with each patch. A recent update made decent changes to multiplayer, limits on game storage capacity, as well as the Kirkhammer.
It would be dumb to not expect an expansion coming out of one of the best PlayStation 4 games of 2015 thus far, Bloodborne. At least we have a confirmation from Sony that Bloodborne will be getting an expansion to keep us excited for more.

The latest Bloodborne patch went live today via Update 1.03, which cleaned up a few small issues that many members of the community have pointed out. Another change was also added due to the most recent PS4 update.
Bloodborne is a game that asks a lot of its players. While not a sequel to any of From Software's other Souls games, it most definitely belongs in the series; and though it has some shortcomings, it might be my favorite one yet....
