Locke, Mike, and Jason once again attempt to tackle the last piece of DLC for Dark Souls II - the Crown of the Ivory King - on the PC so we can put this thing to bed.

Dark Souls 2 received the promised patch a couple weeks back, and it seems to have brought with it more than just what was initially detailed. Specifically, a new boss and a new ending have been added to the game. For those who may be wary of such things, there be spoilers ahead.

Congratulations to Dark Souls 2 for taking home the 2014 Golden Fitty award for Best AAA Game here at Co-Optimus. Our favorite game of last year is getting a bit of a face lift with The Scholar of the First Sin edition, due out on Xbox One, 360, PS3, PS4, and PC sometime this April. Namco Bandai announced a set back their plans to release the third of the Dark Souls 2 DLC trilogy, "Crown of the Ivory King". Though originally scheduled to be released tomorrow, September 24th, the DLC will now be delayed about a week and buyers should be aware.

The temperatures are getting cooler as Summer winds down to Fall, but Winter is coming to Dark Souls 2 in the next DLC called Crown of the Ivory Tower. Like the previous content it is packed with new enemies, fierce bosses, and challenges that live up to the Dark Souls name.

A month felt like a long time for the next piece of Dark Souls 2 DLC to come out; fortunately, the wait is over. The latest content to the kingdom of Drangleic will take players into the realm of the Old Iron King (before he became Diablo) and the dark mysteries that lie within.

It is time to delve into the world of Dark Souls 2 once more with the first of three DLCs, the Crown of the Sunken King. Set in the city of Shulva, which looks like a cross between an underground cavern and Mayan pyramids, the DLC mixes the best parts of Dark Souls 2 and the original Dark Souls.
