Mommy's Best Games may be best known (in recent times) for Serious Sam Double D XXL. Prior to making that game, however, they had been cranking out some quality action games for quite some time on XBLIG; titles like Explosionade, Weapon of Choice, and Shoot 1UP that got me into checking out the indie game scene more. These games are finally making the transition onto Steam on September 23rd.

Explosionade is an old-school platformer/shooter hybrid from Mommy's Best Games. Innovative controls put you behind the wheel of a gold powered, Mega-Nade tossing mech. You can even bring a buddy along for the ride in 2 player local co-op. So is this a delicious beverage, or a sour drink?

While Mommy's Best Games was hoping to launch their two player co-op game Explosionade this week, it appears a few delays in the Xbox Live Indie Games approval process have pushed it to next week.  Not to worry, we're here to quench that thirst with a brand new trailer of the game in action.

I'm pretty sure the title of this game says it all, but when you call your game Explosionade you know you're going to have something worth checking out.  The game is the latest creation from Mommy's Best Games, best known for their co-op SHMUP Shoot 1UP which we previewed at PAX East earlier this year.
