The latest Crystal Chronicles game, The Crystal Bearers, mixes things up from the usual formula by introducing a whole new game design and limits the co-op experience to just two player. Was this a good change, or should Square Enix have stuck with the usual?

While the past Crystal Chronicle titles had a strong focus on cooperative play, the upcoming title The Crystal Bearers for the Wii is instead focused on single player gameplay. There is still co-op play, though it might not be what people expect. We chatted with the game's producer to find out why.
