Today marks some sad news for Happy Dungeons. Even though it's only been out for a little under two years, the folks over at Toylogic will be shutting down the game's servers next June.
Ah, Happy Dungeons. You're free. You're a dungeon crawler. You've been pumping out content at a regular clip since 2016. Most importantly, you have online and local co-op for up to four players. What's not to love?
Do you ever stop to wonder if the mass of pixels you are controlling is actually excited for their epic quest, or if they're just doing it out of a sense of duty? Happy Dungeons squeals an emphatic "yes" as your anarchic heroes rampage across the country side murdering minions with glee. If you've murdered up to this point, you'll be happy for the new story content, which launched earlier this week!
It looks like the folks at Toylogic have had it with people moaning about XP events. Out of the kindness of their hearts, they've been granting the occasional limited-time XP multiplier for their latest release, Happy Dungeons, but that's (presumably) just not enough.
ToyLogic is following up their popular action/adventure title, Happy Wars, with a free-to-play action-RPG affair, Happy Dungeons. The title will enter the Xbox One early access program, Xbox Game Preview, next week.
