Konami has just released a boatload of assets for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker on the PSP. Included in these screens are the cross overs with Assassin's Creed 2 and Monster Hunter as well as plenty of action, well, sneaking, shots of Snake and his co-op pals in action.
What happens you mix a well-known and loved co-op title with a well-known and loved title that just recently added co-op? One would presume the answer would be "a whole lot of awesome," and we certainly hope that proves to be the case. In a rather surprising reveal yesterday from Famitsu magazine, the latest entry in the Metal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP, will include bosses from the popular dungeon crawler/MMO co-op franchise Monster Hunter. While it's great that Peace Walker will be integrating some very solid co-op experiences into the game, we must admit that mixing these two titles together is a rather interesting choice and one that we're certainly eager to try out. The crossovers and tie-ins don't end there, however, as Hideo Kojima had a few more interesting reveals today.

Sony and Konami have announced a new limited edition green PSP bundled with the four player co-op Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker game. The bundle comes with a 2GB memory stick, download voucher for a movie off the PlayStation Network, and a unique piece of content for the game. The bundle weighs in at $199 and will be out when the game releases on June 8th.
Back in early February, we got word that the Japanese version of Kojima's latest entry in the Metal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, was delayed. Unfortunately, we didn't have any word as to what that meant for the U.S. release of this four player co-op "sneaking mission," so we were left to speculate if it would be May, June, or even later that. Well, Konami announced today that Snake and his buddies will finally be making their way to the U.S. on June 8th. What's more, the game will support the new adhocParty Mode, so you'll be able to get the drop on those enemy soldiers with your friends no matter where they may be hiding themselves.

Now available for download on the PlayStation store as well as few sites scattered throughout the web, there's four missions to try in an updated version.
