While Steam traditionally has had weekend deals on any of the games on its service, Valve seems to have decided that it hasn't sucked enough money out of our wallets. Codemasters has just released patch version 1.02 for the four player co-op Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising on PC. The patch includes a host of bug fixes and tweaks, but more importantly, it includes the Overwatch DLC content.
The first content pack for Operation Flashpoint 2 has been released. Dubbed Overwatch, the content pack adds two new multiplayer modes and two new co-op missions.
Codemasters has released a co-op capable demo of Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising on the PC today. The demo takes place in the game's first mission, Dragon Rising, where you are inserted behind enemy lines and must destroy a radar station and SAM site. The demo supports up to four players in co-op mode.

Codemasters has made good on their promise, and officially announced the first content pack for Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising. The pack is called the Skirmish pack and features two new cooperative missions for four players as well as four new maps for competitive play. There's also a new sandbox mode called Island Tour which can be played cooperatively.
