Before M$ had the idea to give away a couple of 'free' games every month, PlayStation were offering the service.  Yes, this may be because PS+ is a paid service, but a game for $0(ish) is nothing to be scoffed at.  The protagonists of the Saints Row series are used to taking things for nothing, so don't feel bad that in July you will get Saints Row: Gat out of Hell for nada.

One of the hallmarks of console gaming in recent years is the rise of the "HD" remake, and with the new generation of consoles, the new trend is to offer games from last generation with improved performance and a handful of graphical upgrades. Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is one such package, and it comes with a new, standalone expansion: Gat Out of Hell.

Volition have never been a developer to shy away from using their odd sense of humor and that is evident once more in the launch trailer for Saints Row: Gat out of Hell.  If you want people to buy a game, what better way than the hard sell?  However, this infomercial may be taking it a little far.

Some people like to have a meal and not think about where it came from, but others like to know how the sausage was made.  The same can be said of gamers; some just want to play, others are interested in the industry of game making.  The new development diary for Saints Row: Gat out of Hell introduces to the voice cast of the notoriously foul mouthed series.

The Saints Row series have never been one to shy away from a daft joke or two and then use that joke over and over and over again.  Thankfully, the series has also been great fun with its fantastic co-op.  Hopefully, we will see more of the same with the upcoming Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell.  The new musical trailer suggests that some of the comedy may be a little painful (and not in the fun way). 

The upcoming stand alone expansion to Saints Row 4 has a release date. Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on January 25th, 2015. The game puts players in the shoes of Johnny Gat or Kinzie Kensington as you tear apart Hell in a quest to save the Boss’ soul.
