Although the series is up to part 5 now (which I badly need to play!), Sniper Elite 4 has just launched on iOS. It can be played on iPhone, iPad, and even Mac. The only downside to this news is that the 4-player online co-op of the console and PC versions didn't make the cut for the Apple versions.

The game follows up on the hugely successful 3rd installment of the series which saw a dedicated co-op campaign for the first time. Now Sniper Elite 4 expands on those co-op options, bringing a two player co-op campaign on top of a four player co-op survival mode.
There is nothing quite like nestling down somewhere comfortable and having some time to relax. Normally a book would help, or perhaps just have a nap, but the developers of Sniper Elite 4 prefer to take a rifle with them! At least this will help in their Development Diary for the game's 4 player co-op Survival Mode.
Ah, and so we're back in the comforting arms of the Sniper Elite series. 2016 has been quite the interesting year, but it's nice to return to a place of familiarity, a place where you've once again been handed a sniper rifle and tasked with eliminating high-profile individuals within the Nazi, Zombie, or Nazi Zombie community.

EB Games is offering a Collector's Edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Sniper Elite 4 for just $AUD129.95. No word on whether this will be making its way to any other territories, so if you're outside of Australia and really interested in picking it up, then you certainly can, but expect a pretty big shipping fee.
