Games with Gold comes around once a month like a co-op colossus giving Gold members of Xbox Live up to four 'free' games. There have been a wonderfully disproportionate number of co-op titles to be had. This month is a little light, with only one of the four games being co-op, but when that game is the stone cold classic Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, who cares?
If you're a PlayStation 3 owner, a PlayStation Plus member, and if you never quite caught on to one of the most fun tactical first-person shooters available this generation...then you need to hit the craps tables right now, because Lady Luck is smiling!
On one hand you have Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for the PC, a solid and deep tactical shooter with both a 2 player co-op story mode and a 4 player co-op terrorist hunt mode. On the other hand you have Emergency Mayhem for the Wii, a remake of a PS2/Xbox title which is sort of an over the top party driving game in which you control emergency vehicles to stop disasters. Emergency Mayhem features a 2 player co-op story mode.
