Frozenbyte wants you to make new levels for Trine and Trine 2! The studio recently released a polished-up version of the same editing software they use for making stages. It's in beta right now, but if you own Trine 2 or Trine Enchanted Edition, you can download it with just a couple of clicks.
Steam's Daily Deal has dusted off a fantastic co-op game all PC players should try out. Trine 2: Complete Story includes the Trine 2 core game and integrates the Goblin Menace DLC along with the unlockable Dwarven Caverns level, all for an impressively small amount of cash.
Locke, Mike and Nick continue their adventures through Trine 2 - the co-op puzzle platformer out on PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U and Xbox 360. Every time we fire up the game to begin a stream it always starts the same way - "wow, this is gorgeous!" Perhaps the game's graphics are, but sometimes our brute force physics puzzle solving isn't exactly what I'd call beautiful.

This week's co-op stream broadcast last night on Twitch.tv involved Locke, Mike and Nick in Trine 2 on the PC. The game has been out for a while now, though it has seen a recent release on the PlayStation 4 and Wii U - but this co-op title surely deserves the attention. If you watch(ed) the stream you surely heard us stating just how pretty the game is over and over.
Sony has been busy padding their new machine's game library with some really great previously released titles. If you missed the magic first time around, or are looking at reliving the memories with friends, all of the three player goodness of Trine 2 is coming to the Playstation 4 in Trine 2: Complete Story. The puzzle/action/platformer game is getting a new paint job, but it's not so much a remake or sequel as a version of the game with higher specs.
The various game bundles doing the rounds in recent years have been great for fans of cheap gaming, but also fans of charity. We have featured Humble Bundles before and once again they have released the co-op goodies in Humble Indie Bundle 9. Pay as much as you like for Trine 2, but pay over the average (currently standing at $4.70) to get a whole lot more, including more co-op games.
Another step closer to Christmas day and another new one day only offer from Microsoft and XBLA. Several arcade games are present, but the one that catches the co-op eye is Trine 2 for only 400 Microsoft Points, that's down from 1200. This 3 player co-op title is one of the best download experiences out there and a steal at that price.
If first you don't succeed, Trine and Trine again. This is exactly what Frozenbyte Games have done with their superb Trine 2. Releasing the exact same game that has graced other consoles on the Nintendo Wii U was just not good enough. Frozenbyte recently announced that an expansion to their gorgeous puzzler, Trine 2, will be released September 6th for Mac and PC. Entitled Goblin Menace, the expansion will feature a new six level campaign as well as new skills that are also available for use in the base game. Trine 2: Collector's Edition owners should already have access to the beta of the game so they can leave feedback via the game's forums.
