Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord is an ambitious game. In development for the past few years, the game is the first full on sequel to the previous title which saw numerous expansions over the years. The series is famous for it's open world, sandbox style gameplay combined with an incredibly satisfying combat mechanic.
The latest expansion for Destiny, Rise of Iron, was barely a week old when there were already some news reports coming out that the next big release for the game, dubbed "Destiny 2" for now, would be changing things up. Not only would the series be making its way onto the PC, but the game may be so different from the original that players would be starting all over again.
Sega had a little shindig for their iconic hedgehog this past weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate his 25 years in the gaming scene. The event was.... interesting? Regardless of that, two new games were announced that will see release next year: Project Sonic and Sonic Mania.
When a Valve employee posted a tutorial on how to import Source assets into the Destinations platform, one screenshot in particular caught the attention of many. Specifically, there was a folder titled "left4dead3."
Apparently, if you want to find out about whether or not a game is coming to the consoles, you should hit up the Taiwan Game Software Rating Information board. Similar to how HAWKEN got listed on a Taiwan Microsoft store page early, three older Activision games (Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron) all got ratings for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The free-to-play mech shooter, HAWKEN, may be enjoying some new life on the Xbox One. A Taiwanese game rating board had a listing for the title listed 505 Games as the publisher and Reloaded Games as the developer. No release date was given for the listing, nor has their been any comment from either the publisher or developer, so this is still within the realm of a rumor for now.
This will not come as too much of a surprise to many, but Gearbox confirmed at PAX East that they are working on the next Borderlands title. No word on what platforms it'll be released on, what the story is about, or really anything. It's all fun-time speculation town here, folks.
The next iteration of the PlayStation 4, which was speculated about after GDC, is all but confirmed at this point. Giant Bomb received information from a variety of sources earlier this week that the new console, currently codenamed "NEO," will not only offer some hardware upgrades to allow games access to higher graphical fidelity, but that it could also change the way local co-op works.
One of the biggest features of the latest Halo title, Halo 5: Guardians, is the team vs team Warzone. This new multiplayer mode pits two teams of 12 against one another to capture strategic points and score points in a very "DOTA-esque" fashion. Currently, this is a strictly PvP affair, but some of our readers have alerted us to 343 potentially being interested in opening it up to PvE.
More news coming out of Paris Games Week on the Sony side of things. During their press conference on Tuesday, Michel Ancel came on stage to present the new IP he's been working called Wild. While it wasn't mentioned during the conference, it appears some form of multiplayer is being considered for the game; what's more, it may be inspired by Bloodborne.

Donkey and Diddy Kong go way back in terms of video game co-op teams, but they won’t be traveling alone in their upcoming title, Donkey Kong Country: Tropic Freeze. Although Dixie Kong was the third playable character to be officially announced by Nintendo, a fourth may have been preemptively revealed by retail.
