Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil 5 might not get much love as single player games (many would say deservedly so), but they're both a lot of fun with co-op partners. Also, Asura's Wrath is an incredible mash-up of anime and gaming. I highly recommend it if you're into punching planet-sized dudes as a six-armed demigod.
