The Humble Weekly Sale is at it again, offering a handful of games available at a pay-what-you-want price. Instead of a bunch of exclusively single player games, though, there's a tasty little snack for co-op gamers in the form of Guacamelee! Gold Edition.
Guacamelee! was originally released in April 2013 for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The PC port came later in the year, and an enhanced Guacamelee!: Super Turbo Championship Edition version is in the works for a Spring 2014 release on next-gen consoles and Xbox 360. One part action game, one part platformer, and one part brawler, Guacamelee! stars Juan Aguacate, a down on his luck farmer who travels through the worlds of the living and the dead to rescue the love of his life. It's incredibly stylish and, at times, incredibly difficult, but the two player local co-op makes up for that. A bit.
The updated gold version of Guacamelee! includes the Costume Pack DLC, The Devil's Playground DLC, and a handful of Steam-based bonuses such as trading cards, cloud saved and achievements. You can pay any amount you like and receive Guacamelee!, Surgeon Simulator 2013 and QWOP for Android. Drop at least $6 and you'll add Garry's Mod and SpeedRunners to the list, at least $10 for Probably Archery, and at least $15 for State of Decay, which we'll all remember will not include a co-op mode, even though it totally should.
The Humble Weekly Sale changes on a regular basis, so if you want these goodies you'll need to act before the timer hits zero. At the time of publication, that's just over three days.
