2K games announced today that their multiplayer and co-op monster-hunting shooter, Evolve, will release globally on October 21. Those who pre-order the title from participating retailers will receive the Monster Expansion Pack, including the Savage Goliath skin at launch, as well as a new monster character available at some point after the game's release.
We got our first hands on of Evolve at PAX East and it's set to be playable again at E3 2014.
There's no doubt Evolve was build to be a multiplayer game, but it's also possible to team up with friends in four player co-op to track and hunt an AI controlled monster. Evolve features multiple monster types and hunter classes, and "more than a dozen maps." Expect to hear more on Evolve and our thoughts on the co-op at E3 in just a few weeks.
