Do you feel the unrelenting urge to harvest asparagus? Are you gripped with the desires to plant, and water, corn? Have you ever shot out of bed in the middle of the night, covered in sweat, your palms aching with the carnal desire to extract carrots straight from the earth with your bare hands? Do you feel a strong emotional attachment (either positive or negative!) about Horsch brand farming vehicles?
If you answered "I sure do!" to all of these questions then I've got some fantastic news. Farming Simulator 15 is due out this October for PC, Mac, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Check out the E3 Teaser.
For the first time in Farming Simulator's storied history, you can now log your land before you farm it! I'm gonna go ahead and call that thing in the trailer "Tree Genocider," on account of how it's most likely the offspring of Paul Bunyan and a combine harvester.
Do you have so many friends who are agricultural enthusiasts, you're afraid you can't fit them all into one digital farm? Fear not, friends. Each Farming Simulator 15 server can cram up to 15 players for co-op farmin' fun for both Online and LAN play.
This upcoming installment features a new engine allowing for physical-based rendering to make these the best looking vehicles yet. That's pretty cool, if you're desperate for photo-realistic machines. They've also gone ahead and added a Nordic Environment for potential farms, in case you wanted to pretend you were a viking with a chainsaw.
You might be very surprised to learn Farming Simulator 14 sold over two million copies. I'll understand if your eyes just exploded upon reading that, because... That's a lot of copies of Farming Simulator 14. Who bought all these? Maybe by Farming Simulator 19 they'll break the 100 million copy mark, and we'll be buying real world goods in a virtual cabbage based economy.
