Co-Op Release Alert for the Week of 11.2.2014

Duty Calls.

It's once again that time of year when the Duty Calls to spend $60 on another iteration of the most popular video game franchise of the last 10 years. Call of Duty was birthed long ago on the PC as a WWII game but has since been turned into a multiplayer and campaign juggernaut by Activision and multiple development studios. On the flip side of releases this week is an indie game that started as a flash game on the internet - talk about juxtaposition.

11.4.2014

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (PS3, 360, PS4, One, PC) - The first Call of Duty game created solely b Sledgehammer, Advanced Warfare's futuristic setting is bolstered by the "Exosuit." It's hard not to compare the game to Titanfall, but early reviews suggest the game sets itself apart rather quickly and offers plenty of meaty content. Co-op is available locally or online in a survival mode for up to four players. [2 player couch co-op, 4 player online co-op]

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (PS4, Vita, PC) - A re-release of the indie classic that's a dark and twisted tale created by one part of the Super Meat Boy team, Rebirth now features a local two player co-op mode for you to enjoy with a friend. [2 player couch co-op]
