After playing Dying Light, did you feel that the game's difficult should be amped up? If so, then you'll be happy to know that game will be receiving an official Hard Mode next month!
Techland announced via Twitter recently that they will be releasing a bunch of free updates in the coming months for their recently released, open-world co-op title, Dying Light. The first of these updates will make zombie apocalypse even more difficult with an official Hard Mode.
In this mode, players will have to deal with a sharp spike in the nighttime aggressiveness of the zombies, along with "more vicious" enemies to contend with. As nighttime is the more dangerous time to be roaming around to begin with, this will probably force players to utilize more stealth and silenced tactics to survive (parkour might not be the best strategy to use). Furthermore, players will have a harder time locating scavenged resources around the world as the resources will be lessened. Yep, harder zombies with less equipment to defend yourself with; perfect for the hardcore players out there. Producer Tymon Smektala stated:
"A few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we're going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that. We're aiming to have it out around the start of March, if not sooner. Depends on how brutal we wanna make this on people."
Players can look forward to Hard Mode, along with various game fixed and in-game skins come March. No official date has been announced thus far, but these updates will appear on all available platforms.
