Co-Op Shmup SCHAR: BSA Hits Steam

Twin-stick mayhem for you and your space buddies

SCHAR: Blue Shield Alliance, a co-op focused shooter from Co-Optimus founder Nicholas Puleo and Brainshape Games, is available now on Steam for the first time, boasting an array of gameplay tweaks and remastered graphical effects.

Featuring a strong emphasis on cooperative gameplay, SCHAR: BSA is a twin-stick shooter in which up to four local players fend off waves of deadly enemies while salvaging scrap material in the outer reaches of deep space. Working as a team is critical to your success; SCHAR: BSA features four upgradable ship classes, letting players serve as tanks, healers, and other supporting roles in battle.

The new Steam version of SCHAR: BSA also offers Steamworks-specific features like achievements, stats, leaderboards, cloud saves, big picture mode, and trading cards. SCHAR: BSA is available at a 15 percent discount during its launch week - and as you can see in the trailer above, the Team Fortress folks look like they're having a blast with it - so make sure to check it out!
