Both Marvel Ultimate Alliance Titles May Be Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Also Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Apparently, if you want to find out about whether or not a game is coming to the consoles, you should hit up the Taiwan Game Software Rating Information board. Similar to how HAWKEN got listed on a Taiwan Microsoft store page early, three older Activision games (Marvel: Ultimate AllianceMarvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron) all got ratings for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

While the ratings do point to a potential release of the games on the consoles, they do not indicate how. It's quite possible that on the Xbox One, all three would be part of the Backwards Compatibility program, which just recently saw the addition of Portal 2 and Left 4 Dead. PlayStation 4 has its PlayStation Now program that lets you play select Playstation 3 titles on either a per-game basis or via a regular subscription, and it has also started releasing certain Playstation 2 games for direct purchase. Then again, and this is my hope, they could be remakes with some visual enhancements. I remember playing through a significant portion of both Ultimate Alliance games with my brother-in-law and having a great time, so I would love to see those make a return.

For now, this is all still within the "rumors" category until Sony or Microsoft make some kind of official statement.
