Far-flung Games' first title, Infinite Desolation, got the Greenlight last week and thus is making its way towards a full release on Steam sometime in 2017. This twin-stick shooter promises "deep character progression, exploration and looting, crafting, day-night cycles, environmental hazards, classic survival mechanics and world-jumping portals."
The game will have three main game modes: the single-player story campaign, the single-player Doomed Mode (players competing for top score), and the cooperative version of that same mode (called "Co-Op Mode"). Based on the description given on the game's Steam Greenlight page, it sounds like the Co-Op Mode is essentially a survival mode with a score multiplier.
We'll continue to keep an eye on this title and see how the co-op shapes up. You can check out a demo of the title, which is single-player only, over on GameJolt.
