We made it! Despite its best efforts, 2016 loosened its vice grip just long enough for us to wriggle free into the bountiful land of 2017. What treasures await us here? Eh, it's tough to say yet. What we do know, though, is that there's gonna be plenty of co-op goodness to be had. Be it via tabletop, board, or video gaming, we're gonna have tons of chances to gather a few good friends and take down some crummy incarnation of evil.
This weekend, we're focusing on devilish loot, aggressive robots, and and quick-spreading contagions. Check it out:
Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "I've been playing some Elder Scrolls Online, will probably continue that along with Diablo 3's anniversary stuff."
Jason Love (@JLove55) - "With the Darkening of Tristram event going on, and Season 9 starting up tonight, seems as good a time as any to get back into some click-click-clicking with Diablo 3."
Marc Allie (@DjinniMan) - "Hearthstone and LEGO Dimensions are in the works this weekend for us."
John Bardinelli (@itsamejohn) - "Guiltily making my way through my Steam winter sale purchases. The Long Dark has already hooked me with its stark locations and emphasis on zombie-free survival."
Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent) - "Last bit of travelling before I come back home. I have been mostly unplugged but a couple mobile games to note:
-Reigns: Tinder meets kingdom management. Loving the style of this game.
-Severed: Dungeon crawler with a neat gimmick of cutting appendages. Really how well with the touch screen
-Deus Ex Go: Ubi Montreal nails these and I have been making my way through this mini cyber board game.
Looking forward to getting back to the PainKeep, starting up the stream and feasting in the cornucopia of Steam sale games I hoarded over the holidays."
Sam Tyler (@thereelsamtyler) - "I am hoping that my copy of Gears of War 4 arrives so I can jump on that bandwagon some months late."
Tally Callahan - "I'll be continuing on with Final Fantasy 15 and probably fitting in some Overwatch rounds."
Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "My friends and I will be escaping a surprise snow flurry with a few rounds of Forbidden Island, Pandemic Legacy, and things such as."
