You can run, you can drive, and you can fly, but you'll never escape your inevitable obsession with Rocket League. It could span years, or it could only last a few days, but at some point in your life, you'll have an unexplainable desire to get better at car soccer. It's going to happen, so you may as well get it over with now.
One of the Co-Opticrew is doing just that, but of course, many of us have passed through that phase (or are still in its clutches). For those of us who've built up an immunity, our weekend will consist of infinite space exploration, extreme outdoor board gaming, and Emotional Video Games. Check it out!
Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "No Man's Sky and Sudden Strike 4."
Jason Love (@JLove55) - "I'm in need of some chill gaming this weekend with the past week of events, so just bumming around the universe in No Man's Sky and pushing through some jank to fix some jank in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018."
Marc Allie (@DjinniMan) - "Splatoon 2 when I can, and taking my dark elves to a Kings of War tournament tomorrow!"
Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent) - "Last weekend of being in the wilderness, Spike Ball and board games all weekend."
Tally Callahan - "It will be a quiet weekend for me with some Overwatch and maybe some solo board games while I follow the news coming out of Gen Con."
Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "I'm working my way through The Sexy Brutale and possibly starting up Blackwood Crossing, though I have the strangest itch for some X-Com..."
Matthew Squaire (@mattaghetti) - "Close friends have set a Rocket League date. I've never played it, so gonna get it and learn to kick butt so I can pwn them."
As always, this post isn't just about your favorite video game journalists. We want to hear from you! What are your plans for the weekend?
