Our Weekend In Gaming: A Mountain Of Games

Time to dust off that climbing gear.

The Co-Opticrew has a whole heapin' pile of video games to play this weekend.  We'll likely be preparing the base camp this evening, with the ascent coming on Saturday morning.  Luckily for us, the peak of Video Game Mountain has essentially the same oxygen makeup and temperature setting as whatever's in our offices or living rooms.  I'm not expecting any injuries, but I've sent the staff an extremely thorough list of breathing exercises and hand stretches to ensure nothing goes awry.

Our journey to the summit will involve perusing Nintendo's library of games, competing for a Celtic island, and catching monsters that can't fit in your pocket for legal purposes.  Check it out!

Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Snagged Ghost Recon Breakpoint on sale, so diving into that more while continuing my Rocksmith journey to learn guitar."

Mike Katsufrakis (@Pheriannath) - "Continuing my Fire Emblem: Three Houses playthrough, and maybe a dash of TemTem.."

Eric Murphy (@smurph_em) - "Maybe some Gears 5 or Jackbox."

Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent) - "Heading to the mountains to unplug for a minute.  All tabletop.  Everdell.  Dinosaur island.  Inis.  Taverns of Tiefenthall."

Marc Allie (@DjinniMan) - "Astral Chain! Man this game is so good. Tough for an old fogey like me, but so fun the difficulty doesn't make me too angry."

Tally Callahan - "Clank! Legacy and some Eternal digital card game."

Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "I'll be waging war on capitalism in The Outer Worlds and slaying triclops in For the King."

Matthew Squaire (@mattaghetti) - "I've fallen madly in love with Dead Cells, it's too good.  If not that, probably streaming or playing games with friends (they're trying to dig into my Super Nintendo collection and I may just let them)."

What are your plans for the weekend?  Let us know in the comments.
