Last night's Twitch Stream had Locke and Nick taking on the family friendly co-op game called Biped, and somehow made the entire stream very family unfriendly. The game puts players into the legs of a pair of robots as they traverse environments and timing puzzles together. Sounds easy in practice, but the game requires careful coordination and patience as we quickly learned.
Don't let the cute aesthetic fool you, Biped is not for the faint of heart. Locke and I knew we were in for a treat as soon as we hit the first puzzle, which required us to cross a platform that changed color every time we put one of our feet down. Players had to alternate steps between them (and their own legs) or the platform would disappear. The game built on this mechanic as we progressed adding in moving platforms, obstacles, and elusive pickups in order to buy hats and glasses for our adorable robots.
You had us at robot hats.
Biped is out now on Steam for $15 and will be hitting PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in the coming months. Hit our recap below and let us know what you think.
