Strategy RPG 'Dark Envoy' Gets a Powerful 'Director's Cut' Update

Big improvements to story and gameplay come to the popular Steam RPG.

Last year, Polish developer Event Horizon released a follow-up to their popular CRPG, Tower of Time. The new game, Dark Envoy, has received a steady stream of updates since launch, addressing player feedback and adding new features. The "Director's Cut" update arrived this week, bringing even more improvements. Given that Dark Envoy supports 2-player online co-op, now looks like a great time to give it a shot.

Dark Envoy is a tactical fantasy RPG with strategic battles. It features:

Storytelling and Choices: We don't simply tell; we illustrate choices that possess genuine significance, choices that bear substantial weight, shaping both the story and its conclusion.
Online Co-op: Still not sure if you want to give it a try? You can also invite a friend to join you on this exciting adventure and provide them with some much-needed assistance along the way.

As for the Version 1.4 "Director's Cut" update, here are main features:

Less shy about connections with Tower of Time universe, new main meta level voiced narration Major narrative changes, reworked main cutscenes, some VO reworked, creating a completely different experience, especially during the first few hours of the game. Balancing, polishing then reworking again, then repeating the process Improved Jaan map and unique boss items further optimization and QoL improvements And we fixed one major sinister memory leak bug that made us all so miserable!
