Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind Announced by Digital Eclipse

Get ready for 5-player co-op Power Rangers action!

Over the years, a great many Power Rangers shows have come and gone. There have been several video game adaptations too, including the Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid fighting game. It has been seven years since the last Power Rangers beat 'em up, though, which Digital Eclipse is now fixing. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is a fresh beat 'em up based on the MMPR TV show and featuring both local and online co-op for up to five players.

The story of the game involves Robo Rita (drawn kind of hideously in the trailer) traveling back in time to team up with regular Rita Repulsa. Rita's Rewind will celebrate the history of the show, featuring numerous classic monsters like Goldar and Madame Woe. It features great pixel art and multiple types of stages, including beat 'em up, 3D driving stages, and 3D Zord battles. Wow, it really looks fun and lightyears better than Bamtang Games' underwhelming MMPR: Mega Battle.

Features:

Classic 90's look and feel with hand-drawn pixel art Fan-favorite enemies pulled from different seasons of the hit tv show Events and episodes that players remember from the show have been remixed Action-packed, 2-D brawler gameplay with arcade-style shooting and driving sequences Pilot all of the original Dinozords Jump into the cockpit of the legendary Megazord and take down gigantic bosses Offline and Online support for up to 5 players And lots more!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind will arrive on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam by the end of the year. Thanks to The Otaku Authority for the heads up!
