Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Gets 'Classic II: Dominique's Curse' DLC

This DLC adds a new solo adventure that takes place after the main game.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from 505 Games finally made good on its promise of a co-op mode last month. That hasn't stopped the popular Metroidvania from growing, however; it has just received a new DLC. The "Classic II: Dominique's Curse' DLC adds a new retro-style campaign that makes place after the main game. The game's existing Classic mode is based on the first Castlevania, whereas this new DLC seems to take inspiration from Castlevania II.

"Classic II" DLC Official Description:

Classic II: Dominique's Curse brings a new storyline, a new list of achievements and a whole new adventure to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

After being defeated by Miriam, Dominique falls to Limbo. She seeks to steal Bael's power and escape to the mortal realm where she will have her revenge! During her journey, Dominique will acquire valuable abilities and artifacts that will increase her power... but beware the waning moon! When the moon changes, friends will become foes…

The "Classic II" DLC sells for $9.99 on all platforms. WayForward contributed to this DLC, so it's bound to be good!

Chaos Mode

Bloodstained, as all the cool kids know, is a modern, 2.5D Metroidvania from the creator of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Chaos Mode is the game's cooperative mode, supporting 2-player local and online play. In this mode, players progress through randomized rooms, with each room becoming tougher and deadlier. It's sort of a roguelite mode but seemingly without any progression between runs.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sells for $39.99 on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam. The Xbox and Switch versions are on sale right now, so don't miss them!
