Back in the day, the Looney Tunes appeared in an NBA Jam spin-off game called Space Jam, based on the hit movie. The movie was such a hit that it got a painfully bad sequel a few years ago. Remember that? Well, Game Mill Entertainment, makers of TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants, remembers that the Looney Tunes like to play sports. That's why they've just announced Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports, which will offer multiple sports and local co-op too!
Features:
Four Action-Packed Sports: Take on all rivals in 2v2 arcade basketball, 1v1 or 2v2 arcade tennis, 4-player golf, and 3v3 arcade soccer! Squad Up With Your Favorite Toons: Choose from nine iconic playable characters each with their own specialties, including Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester, Taz, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. Compete With Friends: Enjoy arcade sports action solo or with up to four players in local co-op. Travel the Toon-iverse: Play across iconic worlds like Galactic Outpost Delta, Porky’s Barn, Foghorn’s Farm, Road Runner’s Canyon, Whispering Woods, Martian Command Center, Granny’s House, and many more! Unleash the Full Acme Arsenal: Disrupt your opponents in the wackiest ways possible, but watch out for that anvil! We've looked into the game's co-op support and discovered that it does support 2-player local co-op. Humans and bots can be assigned to either team in any combination, but only two humans can be on a team. Wacky World of Sports' soccer is 3v3, so a co-op game will have two humans and one bot against three AI players. Basketball and tennis are both 2v2, so a 2-player human team can compete against bots without having a bot on the human team. We've also learned that the game supports motion controls for tennis and golf on platforms that have motion controls.
Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports will hit the court on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam in September.
