Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Gets a Fresh Zombies Trailer and Gameplay Details

At last, we've got concrete gameplay details and footage for Black Ops 6's Zombies mode!

Just a few days ago, Activision released the first trailer for the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. That thing was scary! I'm still scared. But I need to get over it, because even more Zombies details have arrived. This year's Zombies mode will feature a Guided mode to help ease players into the always-too-hard co-op mode, an optional third-person camera, and more. We're talking about spooky stuff, but it's cool nonetheless.

Here's an abridged version of the new Black Ops 6 Zombies mode details. For the full skinny, visit the Call of Duty blog.

Round-based Zombies action is back, allowing 1-4 players to squad up to take down hordes of the undead. The two launch maps include Terminus, set in the Philippine Sea, and Liberty Falls, set in West Virginia. While Treyarch is focused on making Main Quests more challenging, they also adding an all-new Guided Mode in-season after each map's launch to welcome more players into the world of Zombies. Omnimovement is across all Black Ops 6 game modes, allowing players to sprint, slide and dive in any direction. Fan-favorite Zombies features return, including GobbleGums, deep weapon customization, global progression and mode-specific systems. Players will encounter various types of Zombies and grotesque evolving enemies like the new Vermin and Parasites.  Zombies players can also choose to play in third-person perspective and toggle HUD elements such as enemy health bars and zombie damage numbers in Settings for the first time in a Black Ops Zombies game. And much more!

Are you ready for some creepy co-op shooting? I know I am!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will arrive on XboxPlayStation, and Steam on October 24. It will cost $69.99. The $99.99 Vault Edition will include: Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack, Mastercraft Collection, BlackCell (1 Season), and GobbleGum Pack for Zombies.
