IO Interactive has announced the official release date for Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Day on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Set for the US on August 24th, and the rest of the world on August 27th, Kane and Lynch 2 brings thrusts players into the underworld of Shanghai in two player co-op. The game's new feature is a unique visual style that makes it look like a video documentary, this can be seen in a new trailer we have.
It's been a while since we had any new information about the title, but one little gem of info came from the press release - new gameplay modes called Undercover Cop, Cops and Robbers, and Arcade Mode. No word if any of these are co-op modes or simply versus, but an undercover cop co-op mode could be really interesting.
