Our Weekend in Gaming - The Summer "Drought"

Despite a bit of a dry spell with game releases there's plenty to play thanks to the likes of downloadable games.  Deathspank and Blacklight: Tango Down seem to dominate our playlists, not to be outdone by the likes of Transformers and others.  Comic Con is next week, so expect plenty of gaming news, despite the continued light release schedule.  Don't worry, the fall is coming, then we'll all be complaining about too much too play.

Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I hope to head back into Red Dead Redemption and maybe blast my way through the Transformers campaign.  I really have a lot of games to wrap up."

Marc "DjinniMan" Allie - "I'll be finishing up the Wii Transformers game with my son, and maybe getting in a bit of Lost Planet 2.  Also giving serious thought to replaying Starcraft and Brood War with cheats on just to get the story fresh in my mind."

Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "Persona 3 Portable and Deathspank."

Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "My brother will be in town, so I expect that some Halo 3: ODST Firefight will be in order, and maybe - maybe - some Call of Duty: World at War Nazi Zombies. I'll also be checking out some more Blacklight: Tango Down."

Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski - "Deathspank is on my plate for sure, then whatever I can play with others (hint: Nick, Transformers: War for Cybertron) and some more Crackdown 2."

Sam "Samoza" Tyler - "I have finally got around to getting a copy of Splinter Cell Conviction and Battlefield Bad Company 2.  If they arrive on time I will be checking out the co-op aspects of both games."

Tally "xelissa" Callahan - "More Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers this weekend for me (we just got the first expansion), then maybe revisiting some single-player games."

What are your gaming plans?
