There's a new video out covering Halo Reach and its audio design produced by the SoundWorks Collection. In it, Bungie Studios Audio Director and Composer Marty O’Donnell and Sound Designers C Paul Johnson and Jay Weinland discuss the creative and technical challenges for creating the sound in the biggest Halo game to date.
Not only does the video show a lot of new footage of Reach in action, but you really get a sense of just how much work goes into little things like the sound of a Spartan in a cockpit of a spaceship or the infamous Halo grenade sound - which is actually four different sounds mixed together. Finally Marty O'Donnell gives a taste of the game's new theme song - and just like his other works - it's inspiring.
We're six days away people....six days.
