The Dark Souls Collector's Edition has been revealed. It will contain an art book, a mini-strategy guide, behind-the-scenes videos, and a downloadable version of the soundtrack. All of this will be packaged in a slick metal case. The cost to you? $59.99, if you pre-order it. That's right, you can get all of this for the normal retail price of the game. I took a trip to Amazon and found that if you have already pre-ordered Dark Souls, your order will be updated to the Collector's Edition. The best part? "No action is required to receive this upgrade on existing pre-orders." Yup, if you have already pre-ordered Dark Souls, you can get your lazy on and do absolutely nothing and you will still get the Collector's Edition upgrade. Check out the link here for the Xbox 360 version, and here for the PS3 version. If you haven't ordered yet, you can use the links and help support Co-Optimus!
Dark Souls is the spiritual successor to the soul-crushingly difficult Demon's Souls. Despite making many gamers cry, the game earned a strong fan base, which is eagerly awaiting the October release of Dark Souls. It will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game supports 3 player online co-op.
