Publisher Aksys Games has just released the Cave developed SHMUP called Deathsmiles on Xbox Live. The full game download will set you back $30 and features two player online and local co-op play.
In the game you control one of five characters that are angels - a slight change from your traditional bullet hell style game which typically has players controlling ships or vehicles of some sort. The reviews for the game have been solid all around. While most outlets are reporting this is the first time the game is available in North America, and the only way to get it, there's a listing for the game on Amazon for a special edition available right now as well as a regular version for $23.
