It's a three day weekend in the United States as we celebrate our independence. How do we celebrate it? By spending time outdoors, blowing up chemicals, and eating chemi...I mean hot dogs. There's probably going to be beer involved too.
After that we'll all be playing some good ol fashioned games, just like our forefathers intended. Really, it's in The Constitution.
Nick "bapenguin" Puleo - "I might try to unplug a bit this weekend, so it'll be gaming in small doses. Brink, 30 Second Hero, Child of Eden and maybe some Steam games.!"
Mike "pheriannath" Katsufrakis - "Hopefully I'll get around to putting more time into The Witcher 2. I've also been checking out the latest WoW content patch when I have time. Otherwise, I'm going to consume massive quantities of red meat, beer and attempt to make things explode that probably shouldn't. AMERCUH."
Jim "txshurricane" McLaughlin - "I've gotten re-hooked on Full House Poker, and the wife and I are enjoying the surprisingly good Cars 2."
Andrew "Cubninja" Gaskill - Not only is it a holiday weekend in the US, it's also a holiday weekend for our friends in the North: Today is Canada Day! Celebrate by doing something Canadian; like play hockey, refuse to pay for health care, duct-tape bacon together until it's really just ham, or become someone's hat. I'm going to do my part by watching bits and pieces of Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. It seems like that sucker's on HBO 24/7. My favorite part is when TJ tells Superman-Returns that gelato is "milk and eggs, bitch."
If I have any time between Canada Day and the 4th, I'll try and play through the third level of F3AR - If, and only if, someone will play with me. That game is nerve-wracking solo. I'll also try and hit up the Friday night Brink crew, and maybe finish NG on Demon's Souls."
Tally "xelissa" Callahan - "More Valkyria Chronicles II for me along with some Dungeon Siege 3."
Sam "Samoza" Tyler - "It's a bog standard 2 day weekend for me, but my partner is way. And when the cat is away, the mice sit around the house eating too many crisps, playing games like 'Mindjack', feeling sorry for themselves and missing the cat."
Jason "Origami Panther" Love - "Another weekend on call looms. I might find time for Brink or Red Dead Redemption."
What are your weekend plans?
