Back off, this exclusive PlayStation Home tattoo and watch set cost me $15
In the days leading up to Dead Island's release in early September Playstation Home will be infested with Bikini/Hawaiian shirt clad zombies. The dead shall walk a remodeled Central Plaza, alongside all the people doing bizarre dances - I can't decide which is scarier.
In keeping with the 4 player co-op aspect of Dead Island, the Home version of the game will have its own 4 player co-op gameplay. You and your pals will be tested on your ability to combine and create the most effective weaponry over 10 different mini games - I find something that bludgeons works best on the dead. Success across all 10 games will unlock exclusive content in the full game.
For those people who consider themselves more Zombie lovers than Zombies fighters, you can take the more laid back approach and simply have your photo taken with a member of the recently perished. There will also be a survival quiz that will determine your chances of living once the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse occurs. The Dead Island Home event will add new content each week, including exclusive items for your Home environment. You will also be able to pre-order Dead Island through Home kiosks; now that is holistic marketing.
