As you surely known by now, there’s a massive Xbox Live Arcade game sale going on this week that’s open to all Xbox Live members, even the less fortunate ones who only have Silver accounts. The rumors of a one-day only sale have proven true as well (High five, Samoza!), with four XBLA titles receiving extra special discounts today (Friday, September 30). Only one of those games supports co-op, but it’s worth a look: Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is 66% off the regular price.
The one day sale games:
Hydrophobia – 240 Points (70% off) The Path of Go – 200 Points (50% off) Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter – 400 Points (66% off) (Online Co-op) Torchlight – 400 Points (66% off)
The First Serious Sam HD is already on sale, and now it’s easy to complete the set on the cheap. In fact, a couple could each buy a copy of both games and only spend 1600 Points total – not bad at all.
Also, the first Torchlight may not be multiplayer, but the (currently announced for PC-only) sequel is, so fans of Diablo-style dungeon-crawlers might as well try it out now while the getting’s good.
Remember, these prices are only good till the wee hours tonight (around 12-3 AM PST), so don’t delay if you’re interested.
