Soul Calibur IV Vader/Yoda DLC Coming (No One Shocked)
Shock of all shocks, you will be able to download Vader and Yoda on the copy of Soul Calibur IV they are not on. On October 23rd you will be able to download the other Jedia Master for 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox and $5 on Playstation. Finally we can have a Vader vs. Yoda match no matter what version you have…well, as long as you are willing to part with $5 when honestly this download should be free.

BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams Teased in PS3 BioShock
With the PS3 version of BioShock coming out this week comes word that there is a teaser for BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams available after you beat the game. Now, this is in the rumor category, but honestly after seeing the video below it is pretty hard to see it as a hoax at least in my mind.

Dead Space, Saints Row 2 and Blitz II Released
This past week had some major releases in the well-received Dead Space and Saints Row 2 as well as Blitz: The League II. I have yet to play Dead Space as I just got it today from Gamefly, but I have played a bit of Saints Row 2 and Blitz: The League II. I’m finding the former to be pretty fun, although I have yet to try out the drop-in/drop-out co-op play because I got sucked into the latter game. Blitz II is actually pretty fun, at least within my first few hours of playing it. Like the Blitz games of years past I’m sure this will turn into a mediocre game of football at best, but the campaign has kept me interested for the moment. Also, be sure to check out the Colony of Gamers review of Dead Space.

This Week: Fable 2, FarCry 2, others; LBP Delayed a Week
The gaming avalanche reaches a huge level this week, although one major game gets delayed one week because of religious overtones. This week sees these games come out: Fable II, Far Cry 2, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, Midnight Club Los Angeles, BioShock PS3, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Rock Band 2 bundles and PS3 version and many others.
That is a crazy amount of games coming out, but the one notable exception that was supposed to come out this week was LittleBig Planet on the PS3. Sony decided to recall the game worldwide over a song which has lyrics that go against the Muslim Qur’an or something like that. Too be honest when I saw it I really didn’t read much into it other than extract the information that the game would be coming out next week here in North America, no word on how long the delay is in Europe and other countries. Now LBP gets to face off with the likes of Fallout 3 next week. At least it doesn’t have to face off against Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 the next week over here.

Xbox Live Experience Week 6: Community Gamers Channel
In this week’s explanation of the NXE coming November 19th, Gamerscore Blog brings to us news that there will be a Community Gamers Channel where people will be able to upload games of their own making and have them available to people in as little as 48 hours. Does this mean XNA games like The Dishwasher will finally see a release? Who knows, but it is sounding like this is exactly what the Community Gamers Channel is going to promote.
