Dark Souls has been out for over a month and the co-op has yet to be fixed. We might just stop talking about the game altogether altogether, because, well, there just isn't any real co-op here. You can play online with random people who may or may not help you. If the expected patch comes out and remedies the online mechanics, we'll come back for more, but right now we'll just have to wait and see. We may still post bad-ass videos (if they look cool enough).
For now, check out this trailer. It covers some of the different classes and character builds you can create. This is one of the few trailers that actually makes the player look awesome. In most other videos the player simply looks like monster food. Plus, you get to see that awesome wolf with the giant sword in his mouth in action. His name is Sif. I would have loved to have killed him with my friends. Alas, it wasn't meant to be... *tear... I did mess him up solo, so I got that going for me, which is nice.
Dark Souls is out now for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It supports three random players in an online gaming experience.
