If Call of Duty: World at War's 4 player co-op campaign mode didn't interest you, perhaps the latest revelation will. Sit down. No, really sit down for this. Oh you are? OK then.
What happens when you cross Left 4 Dead with Gears of War 2's Horde mode and set it in the Call of Duty: World at War universe? You get a friggin AWESOME looking 4 player co-op mode that becomes available after completing the game's single player. This fall just isn't fair.
The zombie apocalypse mode not only features wave after wave of the Nazi undead in 4 player co-op, it actually has a strategy element to it. As you complete each wave, you'll earn money. This money can then be used to buy objects and items to defend your fortification. You see - you aren't going anywhere. The zombies, they are coming for you. Wave after wave into your little rickety old hideout. The only thing you can do is throw stuff into the windows and doors to slow their pursuit of your brains down. We've got some footage of the new mode posted after the Read More link.
Seriously, who's NOT getting this game now?
