Assassin's Creed 3 was revealed this week, the first true sequel to the series since being introduced Ezio back in Assassin's Creed 2. The new game is set during a setting rarely touched in video games - The American Revolution.
The game stars Connor - a half English, half Native American protagonist in New York and Boston during the years between 1753 and 1783. His Native American name is Ratohnhake:ton (Ra-doon-ha-gay-doo), you can see why he goes by Connor.
The gameplay will focus in and around the battles and historical events of the time period. Yes the game is going to feature battles with hundreds of soldiers as well as forests, cities, and other environments. This is all thanks to a brand new graphics engine.
Right right, so what about the co-op? There's been absolutely nothing officially announced other than an Xbox.com listing that has since been changed. Like a good assassin, Ubisoft has made all evidence disappear. But given our earlier rumor, the fires are starting to burn on this one adding more credence to the fact this assassin won't be alone. Sooner or later every single player only franchise falls.
Assassin's Creed 3 is out this Fall on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii-U and PC.
