Peter Molyneux Leaves Lionhead

Famed game developer Peter Molyneux, formerly of Bullfrog games (Syndicate, Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper) has left Lionhead Studios, the company formed more than 15 years ago who created Black and White and the Fable series.  He's moved on to form an Indie Studio named 22 Cans

I remain extremely passionate and proud of the people, products and experiences that we created, from Black & White to Fable to our pioneering work with Milo and Kate for the Kinect platform. However, I felt the time was right to pursue a new independent venture. I'd like to thank the team at Lionhead, as well as our partners at Microsoft Studios for their support, dedication and incredible work over the years.

Angry Birds in Space revealed by NASA...in Space

This is one of the coolest game reveals of all time.  Rovio, makers of Angry Birds, teamed up with NASA to reveal their new game, Angry Birds in Space.  Astronaut Don Pettit demonstrated how Angry Birds would actually fly in space on the International Space Station, explaining trajectories and gravity.  Best of all - the game looks really slick.

iPad 3 Reveald

Apple unveiled their new iPad and it's going to be called exactly that, the new iPad.  Taking a schema from their other product lines, Apple will no longer be tacking a number on the end of the device.  The new iPad will sport a quad core processor and a ridiculous IPS screen featuring a resolution of 2048x1356.  Also under the hood is bluetooth 4.0, a huge battery for 10 hours of battery life, and 4G wireless connectivity.  Prices remain the same as the current iPad 2's and the device launches next Friday, March 19th.
