Preorder Steel Battallion: Heavy Armor to Get Unique Mech Armors

Even robots need to dress for success.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, the Kinect-exclusive followup to Capcom's classic mech simulator, won't be released until June. But gamers now have some incentive to order it straight away, thanks to three retailer-specific preorder bonuses. Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop are all offering unique armor sets with which to deck out your mechs. Capcom has even gone the extra mile to aid players in their purchasing decisions, creating trailers for each armor and explaining their functions.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor preorder bonuses:

Amazon: Carbon Assassin Armory (Savannah and Storm Armors) - Use our associate link to support the site! BestBuy: Chrome Blitzer Armory (Impact and Tiger Armors) GameStop: Iron Guardian Armory (Rock and Jaguar Armors)

Here are the trailers for each preorder pack:

Annoyed that you won't be able to get all three preorder packs without spending big bucks? I wouldn't worry. Capcom released each of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City's preorder bonuses on the Xbox Marketplace, and will likely do the same again here.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor supports four player online co-op. It will launch on the Xbox 360 on June 19th.
